Bars I
have known
In my never-ending quest to discover every
exciting spot in New York, I've been going out about three
times a week, rarely hitting the same place twice. After a
year and a half of this, I tried to calculate exactly how many
bars I had visited. So I made a list of every bar I
could recall.
Here is that list.
I have defined a 'bar'
as any place I have gone for the express purpose of drinking,
regardless of whether or not they also serve food. Those
listed in bold are ones I think are especially cool.
Bars in (parentheses) are only vague descriptions, because I
couldn't remember their names.
